Hi to all Snug Bug Merino Customers, my name is Lesley Hodgins, and I have recently purchased the Snug Bug Merino Company, I am committed to keeping the high standard the previous owners had with Snug Bug Clothing, what a great product for young babies and toddlers, our garments are ideal for children that spend a lot of time out doors,the 260grm merino fabric will keep them very warm on wintery days, as well as being machine washable.
My children have all left home now, I would have loved to have such warm and versatile clothing for our oudoor loving family then.
My husband and I run a Sheep and Beef farm in a small Wairarapa District called Tinui, famous for being the first place in New Zealand to hold the first Anzac Service nearly a hundred years ago, everyday when I look out my window I see the Cross the Community erected as a mark of respect for the fallen Soliders from the District.

Snug Bug Merino is New Zealand made fashion label for babies aged newborn to two years. The focus for Snug Bug is on design, faultless construction of garments and the use of premium NZ mountain merino wool.
Fabric
Snug Bug uses the best high-tech merino available. Mountain merino is more elastic, moisture absorbent and strong. The same fabric is used by designers Snowy Peak, Untouched World and Ice Breaker.
The quality of the fabric is significant as people are impressed with how good the garments continue to look even after hundreds of washes. Because of this, Snug Bug has noticed a significant amount of repeat business with customers coming back for the next size up.
Snug Bug garments are fully machine washable and dry quickly.
The fabric that Snug Bug uses is also environmentally friendly. No environmentally damaging chemicals are used at any stage in the manufacturing of the fabric.
Style
Snug Bug is a fashion orientated range that produces new collections each winter season. Simplicity is the key to our design choices, which not only offers something different but also brings an element of sophistication to the range. The practicalities of dressing babies are also important. Snug Bug's sizing is very generous so that babies get maximum amount of wear out of their garments. Features, such as hoods staying up and clothing being easy to dress babies in, is important to our design process.
This has also been a notable reason for repeat custom. People feel they are getting good value for money.

Snug as a Bug Ltd, is a family owned business that is committed to providing excellent service to our customers. All garments are personally checked to ensure they are of the highest quality. As we are a small company we are able to offer quick turnarounds with orders and flexibility with customer requests.
Shipping
At Snug Bug we only charge for post and packaging. Post within New Zealand for single items is only $1.50
International post rates are calculated according to buyer's preference.
At Snug Bug we endeavour to have all sizes, colours and styles available at all times. However, if we don't have it in stock we are able to make and post garments within 10 days.
