New Zealand Merino, a pure and natural fibre, offeres clothing what no other fibre, synthetic or man made can.

It has amazing elasticity, being able to be streched by 30% and bouncing straight back into shape. Although delicately fine, the wool is incredibly strong which is why Snug Bug garments last so well, wash after wash.

Wool is also the only fabric that can absorb 30% of its weight in moisture and still feel dry and warm to touch. In warmer temperatures the fabric actually draws moisture away from your baby's skin.

The quality of the Merino we use is the really special feature. It is the difference which makes Snug Big Merino clothing stand out from others. We use luxurious, thick 260gsm single jersey knit for all our outer wear pieces and a substantial but super delicate 195gms weight single jersey fabric for our new born range.
